What to say to a basketball team before a game?

I'm a captain on a 7th grade basketball team. The coach has the captain say something to the team before a game to get them ready. I need a little help on something to say. Any ideas? What to say to a basketball team before a game?

"Give them nothing!!!"

them %26gt; opponents
Play smart and be aggressive! Have confidence and believe in yourself whenever you make a move, because we(teammates) are with you no matter what.

Also...If you're gonna take it to the bank (Drive in to the hoop), why not cash it in?

-Meaning if you worked all that way to drive and get to the hoop, focus on your shot and don't get sloppy at the end...Finish strong

What can I wear during basketball games to prevent re-injuring my thumb?

I've played basketball all of my life, I broke my right thumb several times and I wanted to know if anyone knew what I could wear. Maybe theres some kind of brace out there or should I be better off taping it up?What can I wear during basketball games to prevent re-injuring my thumb?
Tape it upWhat can I wear during basketball games to prevent re-injuring my thumb?
a thumb protecter. What can I wear during basketball games to prevent re-injuring my thumb?
I just broke a finger and I tape it. Every brace out there seems to be to bulky to the point were it effects your shot and ball handling. I would say have it taped by the athletic trainer if your in high school and if not then find out how to do it so you can tape it yourself.
I'd tape it. If you aren't sure how, ask a physio to help you, or get him to teach you how. But if you do know, then you're good!

That guy that said a thumb protector is an idiot.

What is the best/most trusted website to join a money fantasy basketball league with a low rake?

Looking for a website that has money fantasy basketball leagues where they offer security of getting your money if you win or place in the money and also one that has a low rake or a small fee for joining the league. ThanksWhat is the best/most trusted website to join a money fantasy basketball league with a low rake?
There's an advertising section in the (paper) magazine Fantasy Football Index that gives such leagues. Also I've noticed that Draft Street.com has such money leagues; They even offer weekly leagues for money..But,be ready for a very frustratingly slow draft. It's like they give 1 minute to pick a player, but there's huge delays between picks,and/or sometimes your clicking on a player you want, but it doesn't give it to you. Then you get the next highest ranked player. So if you join Draft Street.com QUEUE the players you want ahead of time!

How do i start a basketball tournament ? what are the proper steps?

i want to start a basketball tournament, open to certain ages but how would i go about doing so?How do i start a basketball tournament ? what are the proper steps?
What up Usman C,

First i think you ve to figure out how many teams you want in your tournament and what are the qualification for the teams. (3 on 3, 5 on 5, etc. how many subs are allowed, etc.?)

Second you need to find a place to play your tournament- this will especially matter depending on the # of teams that you have.

Third- you have to figure out the details of your tournament- are their prizes- is their a cost to enter your team, what is the purpose of your tournament. This will enable you to advertise your tournament as well as to get some support- (perhaps some place will let you reserve their basketball courts for your tournament).

Good luck.
