Excluding errant shots and bounces of course, what kind of damage can I expect? If drilled into the wall, into a stud, will the wall support the rim and a basketball consistently hitting the rim?Can I hang a regulation basketball rim inside my house? what kind of damage from shots hitting the rim?
Damage?...i guess as much as bouncing and throwing a basket ball can.
Suggestion for windows...placed a large piece of ply wood on hinges by the windows to you can close them over the windows so the ball bounces off the ply wood and not thru the windowCan I hang a regulation basketball rim inside my house? what kind of damage from shots hitting the rim?
Installed properly, no damage to the rim at all.
What about the walls, ceiling, windows, lamps, tables, curtains, etc?
