How are team fouls in college basketball couted/What is a team foul?

I've been watching college basketball for ages and am a crazy KU Jayhawk born in Lawrence; however, i have never understood the concept of team fouls. How are team fouls in college basketball couted/What is a team foul?
Team fouls are the number of fouls that every player on your team has committed combined in one half. If your point guard had 1 foul in the first half, and your center has 2, you have 3 team fouls. The team fouls are important because they decide what happens to the other team when you foul. When you have 0-7, the other team gets possession and a new shot clock. When you have 7-10, they get 1 and 1 free throws. 10+, and they get 2 free throws.
personal fouls are called on the players

each player in college bball gets 5 fouls before they get eliminated

team fouls are the total number of personal fouls each team has accumulated

if a player is fouled in the act of shooting the player is always given 2 free throws.

if a player commits a non shooting personal foul. the team of the player who was fouled gets a new shot clock and inbounds the ball

after a team accumulates 7 team fouls they are but in the 1%26amp;1 bonus and every foul after that the player fouled gets to shoot a 1 and 1 free throw meaning if you make the first one you get to attempt a 2nd free throw.

after 10 team fouls you get the 2 shot bonus where the player who gets fouled gets to attempt 2 free throws regardless if they miss the first one.How are team fouls in college basketball couted/What is a team foul?
Team fouls are the total number of fouls committed by a team. A personal foul is a foul on a single player, but like I said, team fouls are the total number of fouls by the team.

For example, if Smith had 2 fouls, Bobby had 1, and Marcus had 3 fouls the team would have a total of 6 team fouls.
It just means the total number of fouls committed by that team in the half. For example, if player A has 2 fouls, player B has 3 fouls, player C has 1 foul and the rest of the team haven't committed any fouls then this team would have 6 team fouls. How are team fouls in college basketball couted/What is a team foul?
It means how many fouls your whole team has so like this. Lets say KU has 16 team fouls that means the whole team has 16 team fouls.
team fouls is when a team has so many fouls. Like lets say Pittsburgh has 20 team fouls and one of there players has 2 fouls.
