I played basketball very casually since I was 10 now im 13 and 2 months ago I really picked it up. Over these 2 months I started shooting 2/50 shots from the outside of the key now I'm up to 30/50. I make constant layups easy I practice those less often. What I'm saying is If I practice for 8 weeks every day 2+ hours how good would I get. Btw im 5'5 and pretty strong. How can I improve my basketball skills over summer vacation?
I have a friend that did this program a couple of years ago and it made him a lot better. He started out getting cut from his middle school team and ended up making varsity as a 10th grader.

Just practice and practice, after all practice makes perfect. Also improve your endurance by exercising like jogging, shuttle run and stair running. I think that would greatly help so you legs won't tire easily. How can I improve my basketball skills over summer vacation?
Keep up the practice, RUN alot, go to camps, talk to your coach and have him work with you 1 on 1.
Practice, and summer camp. How can I improve my basketball skills over summer vacation?
Practice practice practice
Practice a ton, that's what helped me play varsity when I was in high school as a sophomore. Do alot a summer camps as well. Since your not that tall yet work on your ball handling. That is key if you want to be a good guard, because you said your strong so it would be so much easier to get to the rim for an easier shot. Also just look around for a game to play. I was lucky, I lived in a city so I could go to a park and play pick up games for hours and hours. I don't know if you have that luxury. If not just invite friends or find a local park to just ball in for hours. But yea do camps, you can always improve something in your game. Be the kids that is always at the gym, or at the park shooting. Coaches will see you have a great work ethic. Lastly and it might be to late now, but try and play summer ball for an aau team. Better competition and it kept me in game shape during the off season. Hope this helps and good luck!!!
