What does it mean to hustle in basketball?

Hi. I was talking to my friend about who she thought would make the basketball team and she thought that I would because I hustle a lot. What does it mean to hustle? And is that a really good quality for basketball? Thanks. What does it mean to hustle in basketball?
Hustle is a good quality. Hustling is diving for loose balls, or running after balls to gain a posses ion no matter if the catcher gets injured or not. Say if the ball is rolling, and you jump and dive to receive it and keep possesion, that's hustling.
To hustle means to do the best you can and to get up and down the court as fast as you can. It doesn't matter how bad you do. When i played i did horrible a couple of games and my parents said great hustling so dont worry if you do bad or good just try your hardest.

To hustle means to get down the court for both defense and offense very quickly...and this is a good quality to have for basketball! Good luck making the team (seriously good luck, no joke)What does it mean to hustle in basketball?
diving for loose balls, working your *** of for things that you didn't have to, taking a charge, saving a ball from going out of bounds, etc.
this means you are being efficient both offensively and defensively. to hustle is to go for rebounds, look for loose balls and stuff. :D
it means you always give it your all and never stop playing as hard as you can your never slow to get back down the court you play offense and defense etc.
