I signed up to manage my school's varsity basketball team, but I have no idea what to do. There are two other managers but they're experienced while I'm the rookie. So, what's the manager's job? All I know is that I have to keep the stats - points scored, rebounds, assists, etc. But what else? What exactly does a basketball manager do?
You work with the team. You come to practices and help them in practice. Your in charge of making sure all the balls and equipment are put away at the end of practice. You also have to be there at all the games and sometimes they make you in charge of refreshing the teammates or keeping track of the scores. Usually they have a parent or someone else keep stats but I'm not totally sure. And don't worry on what to do, the coaches will fill you in on everything you have to do.What exactly does a basketball manager do?
You basically work and help with the team. You help them with drills, get the balls together, go to the games, etc. Don't sweat it, it's a lot of fun. I was also a manager a few years back, and I enjoyed it, and it wasn't even tough or anything. What exactly does a basketball manager do?
A basketball manager goes to the team's practices and helps them with drills and stuff. A basketball manager also makes sure all the equipment gets put up in the right spot. The manager also goes to all the games and makes sure that the water bottles are filled with good clean water.
Hope this helps any.
